sherlockianswanted: Reblog/like to add your name to the list and see who’s in your area! (Google translate time!) Sherlockians in Deutschland (alle Bereiche). Fügen Sie Ihren Namen auf der Liste, und sehen, wer in Ihrer Nähe!  I have to add this: Google Translate, you are so bad.

Replies to my question re: The Greek Alphabet quatre-vingt-seize: I’m not American (British) but I can say that we’ve never been taught it properly. We use some symbols in maths/science (e.g. theta for angles, lambda for wavelength) but that’s about it. The only reason I know it is from Greek Club, which is completely non-compulsory. It seems weird for schools to teach it formally,...

I want to know what everyone's first fandom was.
cinnamon-lady24: Harry Potter. I’m shocked if any of you are surprised. I have been raised with Star Trek, but I didn’t even have a concept of fandom back then. I guess the first thing that really connected me with other fans on the web was the German book Die 13 1/2 Leben des Käpt’n Blaubär by Walter Moers. After that, The Sims / The Sims 2.
